Just over two months after being elected, Tom Gordon, Lib Dem MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough, has reached a significant milestone by opening the constituency’s 1,000th piece of casework. Since taking office on July 5th, Tom has been working tirelessly to address the most pressing concerns facing our community.

In the brief time since being elected, Tom has engaged with residents, both online and in person, on a wide range of urgent issues. From housing and healthcare, to education and social services, this rapid accumulation of casework reflects Tom’s diligent approach to ensure all voices in the community are heard.

Tom said,

“I am incredibly proud to have reached this milestone so quickly. Each case represents someone in our community who needed to be heard, and my team and I are committed to ensuring every concern is addressed.

“My priority is, and will continue to be, making sure that the community of Harrogate and Knaresborough are supported, and their issues are resolved.”

Despite reaching the 1,000th piece casework so quickly, Tom remains focused on continuing this work, and ensuring that every concern raised is given the attention it deserves.
